At Zion Shelter, we believe that dignity begins with good health—and good health starts with proper hygiene and sanitation. Through our Hygiene and Sanitation Education programs, we empower individuals and families experiencing homelessness or hardship with the knowledge and resources they need to stay clean, healthy, and safe. By promoting essential practices like handwashing, safe food handling, menstrual hygiene, and access to clean water, we help prevent the spread of disease and support long-term well-being.
